Plain answers · Growing, time off and what comes next
Short answer: Look at where your last 10 clients came from and where your time went. A plateau usually comes from one of three places: not enough new conversations, weak follow-up with past clients and your sphere, or too much time on admin. Fix the biggest one first. A brokerage change only helps if it fixes that problem.
Plateaus are frustrating because you're working hard and the number doesn't move.
Pull your last 10 closed clients. Write next to each one how they found you. You'll usually see a pattern.
Then track one normal week of your time. Most agents are surprised how much goes to paperwork and chasing answers.
If the gap is getting known, video and a steady follow-up habit help at any brokerage. If the gap is support or cost, that's when comparing brokerages makes sense.
