Start my fit check on the full costShort answer: Yes, eXp Realty is a licensed real estate brokerage. Its parent, eXp World Holdings, trades on the Nasdaq as EXPI. In California, eXp agents are licensed under eXp's responsible broker, which you can check on the DRE website. Is it right for you? That's the question to spend time on.
People ask this because of revenue share. Fair enough.
Here's what you can check yourself. Look up any eXp agent on the California DRE public license lookup. You'll see their responsible broker listed. Look up EXPI on the Nasdaq.
Then read eXp's official costs and income disclosure (exprealty.com/income). It shows the fees, and it shows that most agents earn little or no revenue share.
Legit and right-for-you are two different questions. The second one is about your business.
